Honey
Dippin' French Toast Fries
Ingredients:
1 Egg
1/2 cup Milk
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 slices of Whole Grain Bread
Canola Oil or Butter for frying*
Honey for Dipping
*Frying should be done with
adult supervision.
What you do:
Pre-heat pan to MEDIUM-LOW heat.
In a bowl big enough to soak the
bread, whisk the egg, milk, vanilla and cinnamon
with a fork until everything is well blended and
smooth.
Next, soak bread in the mixture
while the frying pan is pre-heating.
Grease the pan with the oil or butter.
Cook the bread in the frying pan
until lightly brown on both sides and then transfer
to a cutting board.
Allow both pieces to cool for 15
minutes.
Cut* the French toast into long,
thin French fry style slices and then dip them
in honey.
*Always have adult supervision
for cutting.
