Dirt
Bowl Dessert
Makes 1 serving(s)
WHAT'S IN IT?
1 ounce low-fat chocolate grahams or graham snacks
(1/4 cup crushed)
3/4 cup chocolate pudding made from skim (fat-free)
milk
3 gummi worms, frogs or a combination (optional)
STUFF YOU NEED
Kitchen scale (if you have one!)
Blender
Dry measuring cup
Dessert dish or really cool-looking clear glass
or bowl
Small rubber or silicone spatula
Spoon
HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER
1. Use a kitchen scale to weigh out 1 ounce of
the chocolate grahams. If you don't have a scale,
read the label on the box to figure out about
how many grahams are in 1 ounce.
2. Pour the grahams into a blender
container. Make sure the lid is on tight! Blend
on low speed until the grahams are completely
crushed and look like dirt. If you measure it
out, it'll make about 1/4 cup of "dirt."
3. Smoosh the chocolate pudding
("mud") into a dessert dish or a really
cool-looking clear glass or bowl using a small
rubber or silicone spatula.
4. Scatter the "dirt"
on top of the "mud."
5. If you like dirt creatures, serve
with gummi worms and/or gummi frogs on top! Or,
if you're serving this to someone else . . . bury
gummi worms in the mud as a slippery surprise!
6. With a spoon, shovel the "dirt"
right into your mouth! Yummy!
