Cream and Bananas Dessert

This dessert is so elegant and
simple, but it has the most wonderful combination
of flavors.
This is a good way to enjoy something
that is extremely delicious without the regret
that comes from eating so many Thanksgiving
and Holiday desserts. As we all try to maintain
a healthy weight and lifestyle, the kinds of
foods we choose to use during times of celebration
is also very important to re-think. This dessert
is both festive and healthy.
Here is what you’ll
need:
Fresh Bananas
1/2 cup Whipping Cream
2 tablespoons canned Pumpkin
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
2 tablespoons Honey
1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
For decoration (optional):
Dried Cranberries and dried Pumpkin Seeds for
flower garnish
A sprinkling of Almond Dust and Cinnamon
Here is what you do:
Cut the bananas into thin slices and set aside.
Mix whipping cream, pumpkin, vanilla,
honey and cinnamon together in a bowl until
you have a smooth sauce.
Arrange bananas on a pretty serving
dish and pour sauce over the bananas. Sprinkle
with cinnamon (or almond dust) and add decorative
garnish.
Serve immediately.
