Trail Mix Container Craft for the Holidays

Everyone loves gifts from the kitchen and our Trail Mix placed in decorative jars will sure to be a hit for the Holidays with yout family, friends and even teachers.

Materials:
Clean Glass Jars with labels removed
Old Cards and scraps of Gift Wrap
Construction Paper
Decorations: Glue-able Jewelry, Fabric Scraps, Ribbons and Buttons
Markers
Glue, Scissors and Tape

Directions:
Measure and cut out construction paper to make a 1" to 3" high band that goes all the way around the jar and glue into place.

For the front panel label: cut out a piece of construction paper, wrapping paper or an old card and make it as wide as the jar. It can be in the shape of a rectangle, square, circle or oval.

Decorate the label and then glue it to the band on the jar.

Add Trail Mix (see our Trail Mix Recipe) and then tie a ribbon around the top of the jar.

If you wish to cover the lid (to hide product name), place a square of fabric over the lid and secure with a rubber band.

You can also make customized gift tags to hang from the ribbon.
