Halloween Witch Craft and Decorations

halloween witch craft

Materials:
Witch Artwork Download
Scissors (only to be used with grown-up supervision)
Glue and Tape
Posterboard or cardboard from old cereal boxes or any kind of cardboard that is easy to cut
Constuction Paper or other colored papers
Crayons and Markers

Directions:
After you have downloaded the artwork onto colored paper, lightly glue to cardboard or posterboard. Cut out the shape of the head, hat and features. Assemble your witch in this order – face, hair (make by cutting strips of paper and crimp it by folding it back and forth and then glue to face), hat (glue to board and then cut out the shape. Tape to the back of the head and glue a little bit to the front under the hat), then features (cut and glue or fold in half for dimension and then glue)*. Color the eyes or make your own eyes, glue to eye shape.

*Folding facial features: For the nose, fold lengthwise to give the nose dimension, lightly glue the edges and let dry. For the lips, fold on the lip line and lightly glue the edges and let dry.

Have the kids experiment! The witch can be combined with the coloring sheets below to make fun Halloween decorations.
