Chanukah Candle Craft and Gift Box

Here is a simple recycled craft that is fun to do for all ages and requires very little in the way of supplies.

Use this craft as a table decoration. Note: when setting the table, the candle craft can be an alternative to lighting a Menorah if you are hesitant to have children exposed to flames or fire.

Plus, by filling the boxes with tiny gifts, poems or messages, they become wonderful presents at Chanukah.

Materials:
Empty Toothpaste Box
Blue and Yellow Construction Paper
Scraps of Gift-wrap
Old Cards
Star of David Template
Glue and Scissors
Tiny Gifts, Poems or Messages

Directions:
Fill the boxes with small items and cover the box with the plain blue construction paper or with scraps of gift-wrap.

Use the template to cutout decorative Stars and glue to the box.

Cut out a flame shape from the yellow construction paper and glue to box.
